The prototype mainly capable of testing the rationality of product appearance and structural design. So a lot of customers in the plastic prototype making will do some post-treatment process sometimes. Let's take a look at the difference between the anodized and spray paint during the prototype making.
1 .For different materials. Spray paint can be applied to many materials used for prototype with metals, plastics and resins ,but anodized is a process only available for aluminum alloy.
2.The Color persistence is different. Spray paint is to spray on the surface of the prototype, which will fall off with time. However, anodized is to dip the aluminum alloy in the liquid, so that the surface of a layer of oxide film, and the oxidation of aluminum oxide is a stable material, it is difficult to react with the air oxidation, so the color of the surface is stable that not easy to fall off.
3.The effect is different. The anodized color of the prototype has a metallic texture. If spray paint is used, which maybe reach 80% compare with the anodized color.
