In the prototype fabrication, some customers require to do high temperature plastic prototype, and even require high temperature resistance of 200 degrees. Generally, the prototype can withstand the high temperature of how many degrees, depending on its material, There are three kinds of materials of high temperature resistant of prototype that introduce for your reference.

      First, in the plastic prototype, the material with the best high temperature resistance is PPS. Its molding temperature is 300-330 degrees. It is a kind of thermoplastic special engineering plastics with excellent comprehensive performance. Its outstanding characteristics are high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and superior mechanical properties. According to the prototype case we have done before, the prototype of PPS material does not deform at a high temperature of 230 degrees. Therefore, when the customer needs to make high temperature resistant of prototype, the PPS material is recommended to be given priority.

     Secondly, Teflon (abbreviated as PTFE, commonly known as "plastic king") is also excellent high temperature resistance. Although it is not as good as PPS material, it can still maintain its original shape at a high temperature of 200 degrees，It's also a very good heat-resistant material.

      In addition, the prototype of PC material has good high temperature resistance. In theory, it can withstand temperatures as high as 130 degrees. The customers once used PC material to make the prototype of the juicer, which could withstand the high temperature of 100 degrees without deformation. Later, ABS material was used and deformation occurred at the high temperature of 100 degrees.

      To sum up, if  customers want to make high-temperature prototype, the materials of PPS, PTFE and PC can be considered.
