Some plastic prototype in order to achieve the metal surface specular effect,need  to plate a layer metallics,this process is plastic prototype plating.Plating divided into water  plating and vacuum plating.

Matters need  attention :

only ABS material can be plated. The most common is a metallic silver surface coating on ABS.For the metallic prototype ,can plating, oxidation and anodizing;

◆ It is for more conspicuous for product partial details, a thin coating of metal deposited on the surface of the product. The product should be smooth without any impurities then soaked in potion before plating;
